Our adventurous Colleen likes an afternoon beverage with a little froth from time to time and discovered that our Earl Grey makes the perfect latte. This is great news because this autumnal weather makes us fancy rich, comforting, sweet drinks…

Our recipe of the month: Earl Grey Tea Latte, also known as The London Fog

INGREDIENTS    

Serves 1:

Earl Grey Supreme
  • Earl Grey Supreme (15 ml / 1 tbsp / 1 teabag)
  • Boiled water (125 ml)
  • Frothed/steamed milk (125 ml)
  • Vanilla-flavoured syrup / vanilla extract / vanilla pod (to taste)
  • Sugar (to taste)

DIRECTIONS

Earl Grey Supreme

With milk frother

  1. Brew your Earl Grey Supreme tea about twice the strength of your usual blend
  2. Pour your infused tea into a cup
  3. Add a little vanilla flavor and/or sugar if you have a sweet tooth
  4. Froth your milk and add it on top of your Earl Grey & vanilla blend

Without milk frother

  1. Brew your Earl Grey Supreme tea about twice the strength of your usual blend
  2. Add tea and milk to a saucepan
  3. Warm on medium for 3 minutes until the tea has been infused in the milk
  4. Add a little vanilla flavor and/or sugar if you have a sweet tooth
  5. Serve in a cup and top with whipped cream if you fancy!
